This is a fabulous song by Uncle Bonsai, from Seattle.

As they explain, this is a compilation of the things that your parents say to keep you from bodily harm. However, they also have a delivery that certainly gives my dirty mind ideas. I don't know if you have a dirty mind. Maybe you don't. Poor thing.

"in one ear and out the other"

"You're behaving like your father."

Really, it's quite fabulous.

I begged my cousin S for a copy when I heard a tape, 30 years ago. A few years ago Uncle Bonsai came to my town. They said that they had last been here 30 years before. They said that their "dressing room" had a sandwich knifed to the wall. That's what they remembered.

Guess my town has changed.

Here is their website: https://www.unclebonsai.com/. Hey! I don't have all their albums! Purrrfect alien lizard gift!

B and I have an ongoing discussion of Advice and Sayings from Our Parents and Other Strange Adults.

We could have a quest. Maybe February? Or January? Not January, let's just lie around exhausted and throw pennies at the credit card bill.
