This game is fun by itself, up to a point. However, the blank wooden blocks offer a certain range of customization for the imaginative. Consider these variations:

  • Dice Jenga: write numbers on the ends of each block. Each player rolls a die, and must remove a block with that number on the end.
  • Cash Jenga: pay a quarter into a pile for each piece you remove. Winner takes all.
  • Drinking Jenga: Sip whenever you place a block on the top. Chug if it falls. (See also The Jenga Drinking Game.)
  • Truth or Dare Jenga: Write questions or actions on the long sides of some blocks that must be performed whenever that block is removed.
  • Strip Jenga: like Truth or Dare, with more interesting dares.
