Goddamnit! do I have to tell you people everything

Medium Cool was an unscripted film shot at the 1968 Democratic National Convention. A lot of people got beat up by the cops in real life, and it's all incorporated into this experimental flic. The film was directed by Haskel Wexler and starred Verna Bloom and Peter Bonerz. The initial idea was to have actors attempting to advance a general storyline about unrest in the Chicago ghettos by talking to non-actors. Things got crazy when the actors suddenly find themselves in the middle of the police riot that '68 convention devolved into.

Opening rant supplied by not being able to soft link to medium cool.
