Cantankerous manager of the Baltimore Orioles in the 1970's. Like Sparky Anderson, he was prematurely gray haired (in his 40's) and was most famous for spewing forth expletives right in the umpire's face, which he did by turning his cap around. Interestingly, the year after he retired in 1982, the Orioles went on to win the World Series.

Editors Note: Weaver died about 2 a.m. on January 19, 2013 of an apparent heart attack while on an Orioles' fantasy cruise. Weaver's wife of 49 years, Marianna, was at his side when he died. He was 82 years old.
