Looking up a word? You could just do the standard alphebetical search, if you wanted the experience to be a dull one. However, if you like to feel the excitement of living on the edge, you could, alternatively, play Dictionary Golf.

Start with the book closed. Guess as to where the word may be located between the two covers and open the book to that area. That's your drive.

If you've over-shot the page which you are trying to locate, flip back. If you've under-shot, flip forward one more time.

You will feel the warmth as the words look more and more like the word you're trying to find. Soon you will be putting, aware that you can only be a few pages away. Each flip is a stroke. Eventually, you will find it.

And if your score is low enough, you will feel content for the rest of the day.
