Adam Cadre is an author well-known for his works of interactive fiction (including Photopia, Interstate Zero, and Shrapnel), and prose (including the book Ready, Okay! as well as various short stories). He has also drawn a comic book, and written Gull (documentation for Glulx Inform).

Two annual contests are run by Adam Cadre: the IF Spring Thing, designed to help bring out more substantive works of interactive fiction, and the Lyttle-Lytton Contest, a spinoff of the Bulwer-Lytton Fiction Contest with a word count limitation.

On his web site, information on all of the above can be found, as well as a number of restaurant reviews (primarily in New York City and western New England), some featured recipes, photographs taken by him, and other miscellaneous data. His interactive fiction can also be found at the IF Archive.
