A special type of nervousness which incorporates a fear of the unknown with a feeling of helplessness coming from the knowledge that your fate rests firmly in your own hands. The nervousness of an individual seems to increase with the presence of others also suffering this condition, so arriving late to an exam is often a good way to prevent the worsening of the individual's condition.

The condition is either alleviated, or modified into an overwhelming feeling of inevitable doom by the turning over of the exam paper.
