Polish days and months (thing)

The names of the days of the week and months are not capitalized in Polish.

weekdays:

(the meaning is given in brackets)

• poniedzialek (the day after Sunday) - Monday
• wtorek (the second day) - Tuesday
• sroda (the day in the middle) - Wednesday
• czwartek (the fourth day) - Thursday
• piatek (the fifth day) - Friday
• sobota (sabbath) - Saturday
• niedziela (the day you shall rest, i.e. not work) - Sunday

months:

• styczen - January
• luty - February
• marzec - March
• kwiecien - April
• maj - May
• czerwiec - June
• lipiec - July
• sierpien - August
• wrzesien - September
• pazdziernik - October
• listopad - November
• grudzien - December
