Ugh. I'm feeling my
age, while I'm still a
young 31. Okay, I know that
many of you are now
laughing, because 31 is
old to you, just like I
feel.
Here are the things that have pointed my thoughts in this direction:
- I looked at a Gameboy, and remembered the video game that kept me occupied as a kid. It was a football game, and the screen consisted of a dozen or so dashes (yes, '-'). One was stronger than the others and blinked. This was you, the quarterback. You could run and throw the ball, which would generate a little blinking dot that moved across the little screen (which was red or dark--no million colors here).
- I saw one of the fast-finger games on Who Wants to be a Millionaire?. It was "Order these pop singers by their birth, starting with the most recent." I'm embarrassed to admit I didn't recognize any of them.
- I saw an old picture of myself, and realize how fat I've become. Of course, not all people get fat as they age, this is just something that reminds me of aging.
- I looked at a letter I wrote, and I realized my handwriting is just like my Dad's.
Sigh. Oh well. At least its
Friday!
