I read somewhere that
the sea-snake,
vile as it may be,
is only poisonous half
the day.
12 hours on the job, 12
off.

Are these decisions
guided by something
that I
cannot understand?

I do not know,
but I will, for
understanding is brought
with time,
and time
is easily spelled.
