I am an astronomer by trade. I recieved a Msc in
Astrophysics and am pursuing my Phd in Astronomy.
If I meet someone and I want to talk to them
I tell them "I am an Astonomer" and they reply,
Oh can you tell me my horoscope
(which is ok if they are cute).
If I don't want to talk to them I tell them
"I am an Astrophysicist". They say
I was never any good at maths in school. The
conversation ends there.
