I should write.

Irony, eh? It doesn't bode well when you start to read something and the first thing the author does is tell you exactly how unexcited he is to talk to you, does it?

It's not you, it's me.

If you've read my stuff before, you know the problem. Interaction Junkie. This may not generate any interaction at all.

I've been playing a lot of Starcraft 2 since it came out. A couple of my friends play too. Talking about games is almost as good as playing them. Sometimes better, but mostly almost. But no one is around right now. So I suppose I should tell what's been going on in my life. I'm getting a new job. I'll be dealing blackjack in a break in house on the strip. I'm excited to not wait tables. I'm excited to think that I may be doing the exact same job many years from now but be making a lot more money.

Avoid the allergens! I have polyps in my left sinus, and yesterday I was at a house that had had some cats in it. I don't even think cats were there, but they had been a while ago. Today the polyps are still swollen. I like to think this is why I'm a little low energy tonight. But really it's probably just one more example of how humans love to tell stories. We love making shit up, pretending we understand. Any time something good happens we get some dopamine and get all excited...alert...so we can pay attention to what maybe caused it.

Or at least that's what the video I watched today said. I like to think scientists have figured stuff out.

So yeah, what else is new? Lately I've been preoccupied with the opposite sex. Perhaps I've hit that point where it's simply been too long since I've had sex. Or maybe it's just a story I'm telling myself.
