basic channel is/was an enigmatic German minimal techno project/label known for releasing and producing some of the most fantastic and innovative music in the genre.
most of their releases were/are on vinyl, and are quite difficult to find--at least those under the basic channel moniker.
the consensus now seems to be that basic channel is now defunct, and has been replaced by the chain reaction label, which continues to release outstanding minimal techno.
