Malphas is the
Demon Prince of
Factions in the
SJG Roleplaying game In Nomine.
Originally an angel before the Fall, Malphas helped David, the Archangel of Stone by breaking up the continents.
After the Fall, Malphas was given the Word of Factions. His job is to break up human society through selfishness.
He usually takes the form of a distinguished patriarch, and all of his servitors believe they have a special "in" with him. Of course, he is just playing the faction game, playing his subordinates off against each other.
