blues musician from the
50's, born as Marion Walter Jacobs. Highly skilled on the
harmonica, he started in a band headed by
Muddy Waters and later created his own
blues band. He made early records for the
Chess subsiduary
Checker.
Some of his more famous songs are
Juke,
Blues with a Feeling, and
Can't Hold Out Much Longer.
