Cascades is Amtrak's umbrella title for trains on the Vancouver-Seattle-Portland-Eugene corridor, developed as a high speed rail corridor with funding assistance from the states of Washington and Oregon. Service is provided by Talgo train sets which tilt going around curves, allowing the trains to run somewhat faster than conventional equipment.

The Cascades name replaced various individual train names in 1998, after the Talgo trains had begun providing all service in the corridor (with the exception of the Coast Starlight, which provides additional service between Seattle and Eugene on its way to Los Angeles).
