RC Draft Cola used quality ingredients, such as pure cane sugar and natural kola nuts, hence was more expensive. It lacked the "chemical" taste of normal colas and was quite plesant.
A quick search in google came up with an interesting news article dated October 22, 1999, stating that RC Draft Cola is "now availible in Japan".
I'll have to ask my Japanese friends if they've seen it around.
