The song that is most famous nowadays for being the theme to the Austin Powers movies, Quincy Jones's "Soul Bossa Nova" was the first track off of his 1962 album Bossa Nova.

The Canadian connection doesn't stop at Mike Myers, though. "Soul Bossa Nova" was also used as the theme song for the Canadian game show "Definition" (1974-1990). In addition, it's the main sample used in the Canadian rap group Dream Warriors' song "My Definition Of A Boombastic (Jazz Style)" from their 1991 album And Now, The Legacy Begins.
