Ariel Schrag is the author and illustrator of a number of autobiographical comics which chronicle her high school years. When she is finished, there will be four books, Awkward, Definition, Potential, and Likewise, all of which were originally issued as comic books before being compiled into trade paperbacks by the good people at Slave Labor Graphics.

Her stories are extremely personal and full of all sorts of teen angst, dream sequences, drug use, and sexual orientation crises. They're a good read but not safe to lend out as people easily fall in love with them and they're difficult to procure (which tempts the kleptos).

Ariel's books are availiable through Slave Labor Graphics directly or at the occasional good comic book store.
