Michel Wibert was raised by his grandmother. He's well off, stubborn, independent, and has strong ideas about what goes in his hometown of New York City.
He can also see Gods.
With little to no magical talent of his own, Michel instead treats with the Elders, bartering for favors and trinkets. He started out doing so because his Nana taught him to. As he gets older, though, he comes to realize that he might in fact have a reason, a role - one he himself doesn't understand.
Yet.

Note: I have removed several episodes of the NYM from E2. This is because I'm in the process of completing the story arc they began as a fully-fledged novel; they're required a bunch of rewriting and polish, and I'm hoping to publish them as a complete book.
