A
substitute to
GHB, currently
legal in many countries.
1,4-Butanediol is converted into
GHB in the body, but it is quite heavy on the
kidneys. Furthermore, when combined with
alcohol, it is even more dangerous than
GHB+
booze. This is caused by an
enzyme in the
liver which processes both
substances. 1-4BD's effects come with a longer
onset and duration, but are less
euphoric.
In other words:
not worth it.
The real thing is relatively
safe when used with care, but the Butanediol is
toxic even in small
doses.
