The A5000 was an early Risc OS 32bit computer. It initialy was produced in 1992 with 4Mb of RAM, though this was soon expanded to 16Mb. Because Risc OS takes up a grand total of around 600k RAM when running this meant you actually had 16mb to play around with, just like it said on the tin. The machine was built like a tank and thanks to it's great graphical capabilities (compared to it's contempories) it is still perfectly usable for things such as document processing or basic graphical design. It was eventualy replaced by the Risc PC.
