Nicola Boukhrief. The music for the movie was composed by
Carter Burwell.
It is a 1½ hour drama/crime film, in which an assassin, having reached retirement age, seeks out an apprentice. He finds a lowly thief to replace him, but the thief's friend ends up being a more suited killer.
There is a strong screen-violence message put across in the film, with increasingly striking visual displays of television and video-game killings.
