The university degree Bachelor of Mathematics (B.Math) is granted by only a few institutions around the world. Typically, an undergraduate student studying mathematics or some related discipline (e.g. informatics, actuarial science) will receive a B.A. or B.Sc.. Only a few universities worldwide confer bachelors' degrees in mathematics specifically.
One of the most well-known is the University of Waterloo. Others include Carleton University (also in Canada), the Indian Statistical Institute (in Calcutta), and two universities in New South Wales, Australia: the University of Newcastle and the University of Wollongong.
