This 5x5 version of Boggle is the 25th anniversary
edition of the game. Earlier 5x5 versions were sold
under the names Big Boggle and Boggle Master.
I haven't been able to establish whether the earlier
versions use the same cube layout.
The standard rules specify a
minimum word length of 4 letters, instead of 3.
My brief acquaintance with this game has so far shown
it to be quite a bit harder than the original.
(This set also shipped with a "boggle bar", which
can cover one edge row and column, leaving a 4x4
grid if you'd prefer the original game -- but the
letters-to-cube mapping is quite a bit different from
my 4x4 edition, so the masked version isn't exactly
the same game.)
