Back in the early 1980s, ABC produced a series of one-minute cartoons called "Computer Critters: The 1 Minute Computer Course".

The shorts starred a family of animals (all different species, oddly enough) and described how to use different pieces of computer equipment, such as input devices (mice, keyboards, light pens), software (such as databases) and communications. The animals included a cat, dog, squirrel, rabbit, raccoon, fox, and an alligator. I suppose the kids were adopted. :)

They were adorably animated by Buzzco Productions and played during Saturday morning cartoons. The shorts are mostly forgotten today, but an interesting piece of history nonetheless. They were produced and shown long before computers became mainstream commodities, and perhaps inspired future geeks to play with the things at a younger age.
