A bar code developed by Xerox PARC. It is made up of / and \ slashes. Ink marks and coffee stains will not prevent the code from being read as it has an error correcting code interspersed with the data.

It allows densities of up to 8000 bits per square inch.

DataGlyphs can be merged with the design of the product they are printed on. They can be hidden in logos or tints behind text or graphics. This can be seen as a form of steganography.
