Scottish Formula One racing car driver. Currently racing for the Mclaren team with Mika Hakkinen.
Born on the 27th March, 1971 in Dumfries. Grew up in Twynholm in Galloway, South-West Scotland. David first started racing in 100cc go-karts, moving rapidly through different classes of motor racing. Debuted in the Spanish Barcelona Formula One race in 1994, and won his first Formula One in Estoril, Portugal in 1995.
