Jaintuchen, a demon-haunted forest. Climate approximates that of the U.S. northern midwest regions (
Montana). The demons come from the
Demonnest, and help maintain an unusually high population of monsters that petrify their victims (
medusae,
gorgons,
basilisks, etc.)
