interchangeable band name, they were part of the ongoing
pub rock hangover of the early 80s, but were also, apparently, lumped in with
NWOBHM, a newer and potentially more lucrative
meme. But not for them, as it turned out.

Dumpy Dunnell was the singer/guitarist. His CV included stints in Borzoi (when "pub rock" was a newer thing), and skinny-tie nonsense The Rivvits before coming up with a band name that long outlasted the music made.
