An eggwich, also called an
egg sandwich, is a
beautiful, beautiful
food that is mainly eaten for
breakfast, but can be eaten at any time of the day. It's basically
egg and
cheese on a
bun, but there are many
variations, such as the
croissanwich, which usually comes with a
sausage patty. Some of them have
Canadian bacon.
They can be purchased at pretty much any resturant/deli serving breakfast, including fast food restaurants such as McDonalds and Burger King, although I don't beleive IHOP serves them. This is unfortunate because the fast food restaurants stop selling them at a certain time before the afternoon.
You may also be able to get microwavable eggwichs at your local supermarket, although these don't taste as fresh as the real deal, and tend to be very moist. With a lot of salt, these are to die for.
