Pagan/Folk band with upbeat lyrics and melodies, such as "My PBJ", a song about peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and "Merry May Folk", a vivid depiction of a band of Beltaine revelers interrrupting a church service. My sister and mom insist this song sounds like a sea chanty, but the resemblences are superficial. Another fun song is "Pagan Girl", which addresses the desire common to most people to find someone of similar belief to share one's life with. A more introspective song is "Hills of America", which is a vivid depiction of the feelings of hope experienced by immigrants to America. I like to think it could have been sung by any Irish farmer setting out during the Potato Famine.
