An early name for the band later known as
Faith No More. Consisted of
Mike Bordin,
Billy Gould, and later
Roddy Bottum. At one point, their intent was to play with a different singer and guitarist at each gig and they did so for a few months (including a stint by
Courtney Love) before opting to go a more traditional route and named
Jim Martin and
Chuck Mosley as the full timers. It was somewhere about this time that the name changed to Faith No More. There is a single floating around under the Faith No Man name, predating the acquisition of Bottum, "Quiet in Heaven" b/w "Song of Liberty".
Changed because I had incorrectly reported that the Faith No Man tracks were on the
Who Cares A Lot best of album.
