J.R.R. Tolkien> The Lord of the Rings

Findegil was the King's Writer in Gondor. He made a copy of the Red Book of Westmarch, which is the book that contains the tales of The Lord of the Rings and The Silmarillion. This book became the Thain's Book, and was the only copy to contain Bilbo's Translations from the Elvish. This is the last event chronicled by Tolkien (Year 172 in the Fourth Age).
