Film from 1968 starring Peter Ustinov, which may in fact be the first cinematic potrayal of a hacker. Ustinov's character, named Cesar Smith, fakes a resume and gets a job at an American company based in London, where he goes about setting up phony accounts in other countries, where he rents properties and collects the checks. The humor or humour is more clever than outright hilarious, but it really strikes a nerve in this day and age. It also stars Maggie Smith, Bob Newhart and Karl Malden.
