A town in central West Germany with excellent transport connections to other towns. Ingolstadt began its life as a garrison city and kept its military roots by producing parts for the then-named company called Auto Union to make military vehicles. Since then, Auto Union is now called Audi AG and is home to the only manufacturing yard to produce Audi automotibles.
