A character in the Bible. The half-sister of Ahaziah, Jehosheba was the wife of the priest Jehoiada. Together saved the infant Joash from Athaliah after Ahaziah's death, secretly raised him to adulthood in the temple, and led a conspiracy that deposed Athaliah and put Joash on the throne.
