John Koethe

A poet and philosopher who has written several very good books of poetry.

Such books include:

• Blue Vents (1969)
• The Late Wisconsin Spring (1984)
• Domes (1973) - won Frank O'Hara award for poetry
• Falling Water (1997) - won Kinglsey Tufts award for poetry
• The Constructor (1999)

He was born in 1945 in San Diego. He attended both Princeton and Harvard and is a professor of philosphy an UWM.
