Jordan Mechner was the first person to use rotoscoping in a computer game. He is best known for the brilliant Prince of Persia (1989), his other credits include: Karateka (1986), Prince of Persia 2 (1993), The Last Express (1997). While Mechner has only a few games under his belt, their quality is unprecedented. He is also a screenwriter and independent film-maker.
