The KH-7 and KH-8 were both codenamed GAMBIT, and were part of the Keyhole series of IMINT satellites. Both were of film camera design.
The KH-7 had a service life of 5.4 days, and 38 were launched, with 2 failures, between 7-12-1963 and 6-4-1967.
The KH-8 had a service life of 30.4 days, and 60 were launched, with 3 failures, between 7-29-1966 and 4-17-1984.
