Kitzbühel is one of the most recognized ski areas in the world. In addition to being home to the famed
Hahnenkamm Downhill, the resort has about 1200 meters of vertical drop (slightly more than
Vail) and 64 lifts. The area is actually made up of the three interconnected resorts of
Kirchberg,
Aurach, and
Jochberg.
