In music notation, Larghetto is a slow tempo but not as slow as Largo -- about 50-70 bpm. The word means "less broad" in Italian.
Lar*ghet"to (?), a. & adv. [It., dim. of largo largo.] Mus.
Somewhat slow or slowly, but not so slowly as largo, and rather more so than andante.
