Incredibly flowery castile soap made in Spain. A favorite of Baby Boomers' parents (and the stray rich aunt or two) because of its rock 'em, sock 'em fragrance and its outrageously ornate packaging, which includes gold leaf, Art Nouveau flowers (in red and white on a black background) and/or tissue paper, which makes unwrapping a Maja Soap like getting a gift from a Heian Princess. Comes in several shapes and sizes, from family-sized rounds to tiny guest soaps (this features a Maja, or courtesan, in the general orgy of design). These are generally found in the kind of bathrooms where you daren't ever USE the guest soaps or towels, since you're going to louse it up for the next person. But a nice scent...
