Also notable for producing MD 20/20, also known colloquially as Mad Dog 20/20. A favorite drink among my friends while I was a teenager. MD 20/20 is a Kosher wine that holds the distinction of having a 20% alcohol content (40 proof).
Mogen David is an excellent way of getting pleasantly drunk slowly, especially if you don't like beer. Sucking down a bottle or two will get you as drunk as a few shots of hard liquor, such as whiskey, rum, or vodka, with the added pleasure of drinking something sweet and yummy.
