The most dangerous jobs (measured in deaths per 100,000 workers) in America are...

1. Fishermen
2. Loggers
3. Pilots (non-commercial, meaning crop dusters, helicopter pilots...)
4. Metal Workers
5. Taxi Drivers
6. Construction Workers
7. Roofers
8. Electric Power Installers
9. Truck Drivers
10. Farm Workers

Although among truckers there were around 750 deaths, you are only 5 times as likely to die compared to the average job, where as Fishermen are 26 times more likely to die.
