In Gloranthan mythology, the god of dwarves. Mostal is the source of the Stasis Rune, and associated with none other. To a dwarf, Mostal is not a "god", but rather a foolish non-dwarf anthropomorphization of the impersonal force of the World Machine. Mostal does not grant divine magic; dwarves use sorcery instead. In the stories of Maker and Grower, Mostal commonly identified as Maker, and Flamal, the Plant God, as Grower.
