NAT

Network Address Translation.

A good start to hiding multiple desktops behind a hardware router or linux box configured as a router/firewall that has a single, public IP Address.

When entropy, information or lod are measured using natural logarithms, the result is often considered to be in units called "nats". The more common form, at least in computing fields, is to use a base 2 logarithm, and express the result in bits.
