Established in 1907, Public Services International or PSI, is the global union federation for public sector unions. It has more than 600 affiliated trade unions in over 140 countries representing over 20 million public service workers in many different occupations including health workers, firefighters, workers in public utilities, civil servants, judges, and social workers.
PSI is an officially recognised non-government organisation for the public sector within the International Labour Organisation and also has accreditation with UNESCO, ECOSOC and UNCTAD.
