A 6-voice
analog rhythm machine. Released in
1978.
The TR-66 is essentially a stripped-down version of the
CR-68 (which was already missing a lot of useful features).
6 instruments are available:
kick,
snare,
tom (x2),
hat,
cymbal, and
conga.
For the rhythms, 27
preset patterns with 3
variations are included.
There are controls for
tempo,
balance and
volume, plus a
trigger out jack for external sync.
No
editing or
programming features are included on the TR-66, making it just a simple rhythm
playback device.
