First German paperback brand ever.

Rororo is a division of Hamburg's high brow publishing giant Rowohlt. Their first release was Hans Fallada's Little Man - What next? in 1950. After one year in business, they'd already sold one million books (not that there were a lot of people left in Germany to buy books). Graham Greene, Albert Camus, Rudyard Kipling, Kurt Tucholsky and Ernest Hemingway were their first authors, and the idea of bringing great authors to the masses is still their No. 1 priority.

After 16000 titles and 600 000 000 sold books.

Not bad.
